Kano, Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin Kofa, representing Kiru/Bebeji federal constituency in the House of Representatives, has sternly warned Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa to cease insulting Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the National Leader of the NNPP.

Doguwa had been seen in a viral video attacking Kwankwaso and his followers in Kano state.

At a rally in his constituency, Jibrin cautioned Doguwa to focus on his legislative duties and desist from making reckless comments about Kwankwaso, whom he described as a mentor, leader, and father figure.

He emphasized that Kwankwaso is not Doguwa’s equal in any aspect.

Jibrin also extended the warning to others who attack the Kano Governor, stating that they will defend Kwankwaso, the Governor, and the NNPP.

He disputed Doguwa’s claim of being with Kwankwaso in the House of Representatives in 1992, highlighting Kwankwaso’s impressive credentials and achievements.

Jibrin emphasized that Kwankwaso has always counseled against inciting protests and advised those aggrieved to use their voting power.

He reiterated his support for the Governor and government of Kano state and announced the restoration of his constituency’s special intervention fund.

The event featured the distribution of fertilizer, forms for a N150,000 cash grant, solar street lights, and job offers to youths, as well as prayers for Kwankwaso, the Kano state Governor, and Nigeria.
