Hon. Jibrin Kofa Responds to Doguwa: “You Will Be Expelled from Your Party If I Reveal a Bombshell”

My attention has been drawn to a statement attributed to Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa in response to my earlier warning to cease his false and reckless statements attacking the NNPP National Leader and worldwide leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement. Instead of apologizing and focusing on his legislative duties, Doguwa chose to respond with petty talks and a superiority complex.
I stand by my earlier statement and add the following responses to Doguwa:
- I am glad Doguwa partially heeded my warning and responded to me, not Kwankwaso. This confirms that I am his mate, not Kwankwaso.
- Doguwa’s response exposed his weak temperament and suitability for leadership, considering his age. Kwankwaso has tolerated decade-long unwarranted attacks and insults from Doguwa, but Doguwa could not contain a simple warning for 24 hours.
- I was a student in 1992, but Doguwa was also a student who landed in the House of Representatives. I was mentored into the house by Kwankwaso as a young PhD holder, Alumni of Harvard and London Business Schools, successful businessman, and philanthropist.
- While Doguwa remained in the House for 32 years without moving forward, Kwankwaso has held various positions, including Deputy Speaker, Governor of Kano State, Minister of Defence, Diplomat, Senator, and National Leader of NNPP.
- Kwankwaso is a peace lover, father, mentor, and builder of people, with the largest political followership in northern Nigeria. He has never incited youths or anyone to disrupt peace.
- I advise Doguwa to respect his age and restrict his fights within his party. If some leaders in Abuja knew about his utterances, he would be expelled from his party.
In conclusion, I sympathize with Doguwa’s frustrations, but he can be consoled with the title of “Sardauna of Turban”.
