Kano, The Kano State Police Command on Wednesday confirmed the out break of fire at Gwale Local Government Area of state.
The Commissioner of Police Mr.Hussaini Gumel, told the Newsworth Magazine in a telephone interview that incident occurred at about 05am-06:30am.
He said that upon report received from Special Service Unit Of Gwale LGA that part of the secretariat of the local government area was torched by fire.
” As a result the Fire Service and other relevant emergency workers responded promptly and quenched off the fire.
He explained that the main secretariat building remains intact,only three departments of Community Service office , Works and Audit departments were affected.
” We have since commence intensive investigation Police Investigation to o unravel the remote and immediate causes of the fire out break”,the Commissioner said
