Alleged Ganduje Dollar Video- Kano Anti-Graft Agency Engages Femi Falana to lead Counsel

The Kano Public Complain And anti Corruption Commission says it has engaged the services of Mr Femi Falana SAN to lead the counsel of the commission in the alleged Dollar video involving former governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje before the Federal High court sitting in Kano.
The commission’s counsel, Barrister Usman Umar Fari stated this while speaking with newsmen after the case was adjourned by the presiding judge, Justice A.M Liman.
Barrister Usman Umar Fari noted that “Mr Femi Falana SAN has been engaged by the Anti-Graft agency to lead it’s counsel.
“the case was adjourned because the counsel to the Applicant informed the court that he was not ready, he wanted to respond to the processes served to him, hence it was adjourned to the 25 of July 2023 for hearing.”
Recalled that the former Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje through his counsel Barrister B. Hemba had filed an experte motion before the court , seeking the court to restrain the commission from arresting , investigating and inviting him over the alleged dollar video.
