ACF Kano mourns Sheikh Nasir

Kano, The Kano State chapter of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has expressed grief at the news of the death of Sheik Mohammad Nasir the chief Imam of Fagge Central mosque .
This is contained in a statement issued by the Publicity Secretary of Forum Bello Galadanchi on Thursday in Kano.
The Chairman, Dr Goni Farouk Umar lauded the positive contributions of the late Muslim cleric to Islamic propagation, and the administration of justice in the state during his sojourn in the state judiciary.
Umar recalled similar positive engagements when he and the late Sheikh among others greatly sustained the Hausa Week at the then ABC/ ABU Kano( now BUK) , an annual event that attracted scholars, researchers and artistes from far and near. It also impacted the position of the Language worldwide.
Umar prayed Allah to grant Sheikh Nasir Muhammad eternal rest and grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
