Kano Schools Resume with Good Turnout of Teachers and Students

Primary and post-primary schools in Kano State have reported a good turnout of teachers and students on the first day of the third term for the 2025 academic session.
Monitoring teams from the Kano State Ministry of Education found most schools had teachers, students and pupils present as early as 7:30 am.
” Most schools recorded good attendance, with some absenteeism noted in a few institutions.
” Lesson Preparation, Teachers were found to be well-prepared, with lesson plans in place and school premises cleaned for the smooth commencement of classes.
The Commissioner of Education Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda appreciated the turnout and pledged the government’s commitment to boosting education standards in the state.
Principals and Head Teachers: Urged to maintain the tempo and ensure continued punctuality and efficiency.
Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff: Encouraged to work together as a team to deliver quality education.
Parents and Guardians Thanked for their cooperation and support.
The monitoring exercise is a tradition on the first day of school resumption, aimed at ensuring punctuality and efficiency among staff.
