Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II has praised Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his administration’s dedication to education, healthcare, agriculture, and security, describing his efforts as transformative and impactful.
The Emir made these remarks during the traditional Sallah homage to the governor at the Government House in Kano.
“We commend you for your outstanding work, especially in education and agriculture,” Emir Sanusi stated.
“Your commitment to subsidizing modern farming implements has greatly supported our farmers, and your investment in education is shaping the future of our youth.”
The Emir expressed gratitude for witnessing another Sallah celebration and appreciated the Kano State House of Assembly’s efforts in restoring order and stability within the Emirate Council.
Emir Sanusi urged local government chairmen to emulate the governor’s leadership by engaging in developmental projects and being accountable to the people.
“As those closest to the people, it is your responsibility to ensure good governance, transparency, and impactful service delivery.”
The Emir reaffirmed his support for the governor’s vision and encouraged continued collaboration between the government and traditional institutions to ensure sustainable development and progress in Kano State.
