FG Expresses Dismay Over Slow Pace of Work at Kano Housing Estate

The Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has expressed disappointment over the slow pace of work at the Renewed Hope Estate, a 500-unit housing project in Kano State.
Minister Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, during a site visit, criticized the contractor’s progress, stating, “We expect you to be way ahead of where you are now. You need to sit up or risk losing the job.”
The minister emphasized the need for timely completion, aiming for the project to be commissioned by the end of the year. The contractor assured the minister of increased efforts to meet the deadline.
The project, located in Lambu Village, Tofa Local Government Area, comprises blocks of 2-bedroom, 1-bedroom, and 3-bedroom semi-detached bungalows.
