Kano, Oct. 28, 2026 , Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Maj. Salisu Musa Gulu (Rtd), the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Rimingado/Tofa State Constituency in the 2023 Kano State House of Assembly election.
Maj. Gulu also served as the Deputy Director and Secretary of the Kano State APC 2027 Campaign Council.
The Governor described the deceased’s passing as a painful loss to his family, political associates and members of the APC in Kano State.
Yusuf extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, his colleagues and political associates, praying that Almighty Allah grants them the strength and patience to bear the loss.
He prayed to Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, accept his good deeds and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.
The Governor urged all those mourning Maj. Gulu to take solace in the will of Almighty Allah and prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul.
