Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has joined the All Progressives Congress (APC), citing the need for strategic alignment with the Federal Government to drive development.
Addressing a rally at Sani Abacha Stadium, Yusuf said Kano’s size and importance necessitate political connection to the centre for accelerated growth.
He emphasized that the decision was driven by responsibility to position Kano for national engagement, opportunity attraction, and citizen benefits.
APC stakeholders, including former Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and Deputy Senate President Sen. Barau Jibrin, pledged 100% support for Yusuf’s leadership.
