Kano, The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board (KSPWB) says all arrangements for the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage have been finalised, covering accommodation, meals, transport and tent facilities in the Holy Land.
This is contained in a statement issued by its Public Relations Officer, Sulaiman Dederi in Kano on Thursday.
Director‑General of the board, Lamin Danbappa, disclosed this during a stakeholders’ meeting at his office.
He said that Gov. Abba Yusuf had granted the necessary approvals to enable the board to complete the preparations.
Danbappa added that a recent visit to Saudi Arabia was undertaken to ensure thorough preparation in the areas of accommodation, catering, transportation and tent arrangements in Makkah.
The director‑general urged all intending pilgrims to settle their Hajj fees before the Dec. 5, 2025 deadline.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alhaji Yusif Lawan, urged prospective pilgrims to seize the opportunity and secure their seats promptly.
He appealed to them to pray for peace in Kano state and Nigeria, saying that a peaceful environment would bolster the Hajj operations.
