Dissolution

Kano, Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State has approved the immediate dissolution of the Board of the Kano State Consumer Protection Council.
The decision followed a prolonged leadership crisis within the council in spite of intervention efforts aimed at restoring peace and fostering harmonious working relationships.
This is contained in a statement issued by Issued by Press Secretary, Office of the SSG, Musa Muhammad in Kano on Saturday.
The Secretary to the State Government Alhaji Umar Ibrahim, instructed the affected officials to hand over their offices’ activities and government properties to the council’s most senior officer by the close of business on Monday.
Muhammad said the Chairman, Executive Secretary, and all board members including Ex-Officio members were relieved of their appointments effective immediately.
Handover documents are to be submitted to the SSG’s Office – Research, Evaluation and Political Affairs Directorate and the Commissioner, Ministry for Investment and Commerce.( NAN) ( www.nannews.ng)
