Kano, – The Kano State Housing Corporation has launched the second phase of its massive sanitation initiative at Kwankwasiyya City.
The exercise aims to enhance waste management, improve waste collection, and beautify public areas.
The Ag/Managing Director of KSHC, Engr. Isyaku Umar Kwa, said the initiative promotes community pride, aesthetic appeal, and reduces sanitation-related diseases.
He urged residents to participate in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in their neighborhoods, emphasizing that “cleanliness is a collective responsibility.”
The sanitation drive is part of the state government’s efforts to realize urban development goals.
