Kano,The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced October 8, 2025, as the deadline for remitting 50% of the state’s Hajj seat allocation for the 2026 pilgrimage.
The Director General of the Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, stated that the directive was issued by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON). Kano State has been allocated 5,684 Hajj seats for the 2026 pilgrimage.
The Board urged intending pilgrims to process their Hajj drafts promptly to ensure the state retains its full allocation. The deadline for remitting the full Hajj fare is December 31, 2025.
