FirstBank Unveils New Opportunities for Customers in Kano

Kano, The FirstBank has reiterated its commitment to customer-oriented banking services and addressing customer concerns at the “Voice of Customers” event in Kano.
The bank’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Olusegun Alebiosu, assured customers of quality services and appreciated their loyalty.
Alebiosu explained that the bank values customer feedback and is committed to serving them better, noting that FirstBank has the highest visibility in Kano with 19 branches.
The event, attended by prominent business leaders, Islamic scholars, and women groups, provided a platform for customers to interact with the CEO and have their concerns addressed.
The CEO also hinted at the bank’s plans to introduce non-interest banking services, following calls from customers, including Islamic scholar Gwani Farouk Umar.
The bank’s top management unveiled new opportunities for merchants and customers, as well as improved services across all products, at the “Voice of Customers” event in Kano, themed “An Evening with the CEO”.
Alebiosu, appreciated customers’ loyalty and assured them of quality services while responding to their questions.
He said the bank was in Kano to interact with customers, listen to their complaints, and take corrective actions.
He noted that FirstBank has the highest visibility in Kano with 19 branches, reaffirming its commitment to serving customers in the state and beyond.
The CEO assured that non-interest banking is already a priority for the bank, following a question on Islamic finance window.
Gwani Farouk Umar, a prominent Islamic scholar and business leader, who has been a customer since 1992, called for the provision of Islamic financing options.
The event drew notable business leaders, Islamic scholars, women groups, and non-profit organizations, who had their concerns addressed.
The event featured dinner and interactive sessions with the CEO.
