Kano Conveys 588 Students to 13 Northern States for Exchange Programme

The Kano State Government has successfully transported 588 students to 13 northern states under the Students Exchange Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session. 

The students were conveyed to their respective states, including Adamawa, Bauchi, Gombe, Jigawa, Katsina, Kebbi, Taraba, Nasarawa, Yobe, Kaduna, Sokoto, Borno, and Kwara.

He explained that about 588 students were transported to their respective states, with 78 students scheduled to depart for Niger and Benue States on September 30, 2025.

The Students Exchange Programme aims to promote unity and understanding of cultural backgrounds among member states.

The Kano State Government is committed to ensuring the safe transportation of students to their respective states.

Governor Abba Yusuf has provided necessary logistics and financial support for the programme.

The government appreciates the cooperation of parents and stakeholders in making the programme a success.
