Kano State Conveys 588 Students to 15 Northern States

The Kano State Government has successfully conveyed 588 students to 15 northern states as part of the Students Exchange Programme. The students, comprising males and females, were transported to their respective states for the commencement of the 3rd term 2024/2025 holiday.
The states that received students include Adamawa, Bauchi, Benue, Jigawa, Katsina, Kebbi, Taraba, Yobe, Kaduna, Nasarawa, Gombe, Borno, Niger, Plateau, and Kwara. The programme aims to promote unity and understanding of cultural backgrounds among the member states.
The Kano State Government, under the leadership of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, provided the necessary logistics for the smooth conveyance of the students. The Director Monitoring and Evaluation of the Ministry, Auwal Muhammad Mustapha, commended the Governor for his financial support and the State Commissioner of Education, Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda, for ensuring the success of the exchange programme.
The programme is part of the efforts to promote unity and cultural understanding among the northern states, and the Kano State Government appreciates the cooperation of parents and stakeholders in making the programme beneficial.
