Kano Govt. approves key redeployments, appointment in strategic agencies

Kano, The Kano State Government has approved the redeployment and appointment of senior officials in key agencies to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen institutional leadership.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Information Officer, Office of the Secretary to the State Government,Musa Tanko in Jano on Monday.
Dr. Muhammad Khalil, formerly the Executive Secretary of the Waste Environmental Compliance and Management Agency (WECCMA), has been redeployed to serve as the Acting Managing Director of the Refuse Management and Sanitation Board (REMASAB).
Lamin Mukhtar Hassan, who previously served as the Deputy Managing Director of REMASAB, has been redeployed to the Sustainable Kano Project as Deputy Managing Director.
Mustapha Sulaiman Mainasara, formerly the Senior Special Reporter at REMASAB, has been redeployed to the Kano Agro Pastoral Development Project (KNAP) to serve in the same capacity.
Dr. Mahmoud Abba has been appointed as the Acting Executive Secretary of the Waste Environmental Compliance and Management Agency (WECCMA)
The redeployments and appointments are effective immediately.
The Kano State Government has expressed confidence in the officials’ abilities and urged them to leverage their experience and expertise in their new roles
