Resumption

The Kano State Government has announced the resumption dates for the 2024/2025 third term academic session.
Boarding public and private primary and post-primary schools will resume on Sunday, April 6, 2025, while day schools across the state will resume on Monday, April 7, 2025.
The Director of Public Enlightenment, Ministry of Education, Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru, urged parents and guardians to note the resumption dates and ensure total compliance.
The Commissioner of Education, Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda, warned that disciplinary action would be taken against defaulting students and pupils.
Dr. Makoda advised students to avoid bringing illegal items, such as knives, razors, or illicit drugs, to school and remain law-abiding to succeed in their studies.
He also urged academic and non-academic staff to report to their respective schools for their official duties.
The Kano State Government, under the administration of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, is committed to achieving access to quality education and creating a conducive learning environment for students to excel.
The ministry will conduct routine monitoring exercises to ensure staff punctuality and efficiency.
The Commissioner wished students, pupils, and teachers a successful new term.
