Commitment

Kano, Gov.Abba Yusuf of Kano State has reaffirmed his commitment to the growth and development of Rano Emirate in the state.
Yusuf made pledge when the Emir of Rano,Amb. Muhammad Isa Umar,paid him the traditional Sallah homage at the Government House on Thursday.
This is contained in a statement issued by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa.
According to Dawakin Tofa, the visit is a symbol of tradition and unity that provided an opportunity for the governor and the emir to deliberate on key issues affecting the development and welfare of the people of Rano Emirate.
He said the governor also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the progress of the emirate, highlighting ongoing efforts to enhance infrastructure, water supply, healthcare, education, and agriculture in the region.
He also acknowledged the vital role played by the people of Rano in his administration’s success, assuring them that they would remain a priority in government’s programmes and policies.
In his remarks, the Emir expressed gratitude for the governor’s hospitality and pledged his continued support for peace, progress and stability in Kano State.
