Condolence

Kano, Gov.Abba Yusuf of Kano State has once again condoled with the Emir of Rano over the brutal killing of indigenes of Rano Local Government in Uromi,Edo.
A statement issued by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, said Yusuf and the Emir of Rano spent several hours consoling the affected families and community members.
Sanusi said the governor expressed his sympathy while receiving the Emir at the Government House during a Sallah homage on Thursday.
His intervention,he said, had been instrumental in maintaining calm and discouraging acts of retaliation.
Governor Yusuf reassured his administration’s commitment to peace, unity, and justice, emphasizing the need for collective efforts to curb violence and foster harmony among all communities.
In his remarks, the Sarkin Rano thanked the governor for his support and called for more government efforts to strengthen security and ensure justice for the victims.
He urged Governor Yusuf to take decisive steps in preventing further violence and protecting the lives of Kano indigines across the country.
