Sen.Musa Condemns Brutal Killing of Travelers in Edo State

Senator Sani Musa,( APC Niger) Chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance, has strongly condemned the brutal killing of at least 16 travelers in Uromi, Edo State. 

In a statement issued on Saturday, Senator Musa described the incident as a heinous act that demands an unwavering response from security and judicial institutions.

The victims, predominantly hunters from Rivers State, were ambushed by a vigilante group and armed youths while traveling to Kano to celebrate Sallah with their families.

Senator Musa emphasized that all individuals found complicit in the atrocity must be brought to justice, including law enforcement personnel who may have neglected their duty.

Senator Musa urged Nigerians to live in harmony, regardless of their differences. 

Those responsible for senseless killings should face justice to ensure peace, progress, and development of our nation’s hard-earned unity. 

Nigeria remains a strong and united nation. 

The lawmaker emphasized the importance of national unity and collective condemnation of such heinous acts.
