Kano APC Leaders Receive Massive Empowerment from Senator Barau

Senator Barau Jibrin, the Deputy President of the Senate, has donated 61 vehicles and 1,137 motorcycles to the All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders in Kano State. 

This massive empowerment is aimed at consolidating the party’s strength and improving the livelihoods of its members ¹.

The event, held at the Meena Event Centre, was attended by key stakeholders, including the APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. 

The vehicles and motorcycles were distributed to party chairmen in the 44 local government areas and 484 wards of Kano State.

According to Prince Abdullahi Abbas, the Kano State chairman of the APC, Senator Barau has been the financier of the party’s activities since 2023. 

Abbas described Barau as the Senator for all in Kano State, representing not just Kano North but also Kano Central and South.

The National Chairman of the APC, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, commended Senator Barau for the empowerment, urging others to follow suit. 

Ganduje also expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the reforms initiated, which have led to positive results in Nigeria, including a decrease in petrol costs, food prices, and an appreciation of the Naira.

Senator Barau Jibrin described the empowerment as just the beginning, promising more mega empowerment programs for the people of Kano, including the youth, students, farmers, women, traders, and clerics. 

He encouraged continued support for President Tinubu’s administration to implement programs for the betterment of Nigerians.
