Gov.Yusuf Approves N61 Million Compensation for ADUSTECH Project-Affected Residents

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has approved the release of N61 million to compensate residents of neighboring villages affected by the expansion projects at the Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUSTECH) in Wudil.
This announcement was made by the Vice Chancellor of ADUSTECH, Prof. Musa Tukur Yakasai, during a meeting with the Chairman of Wudil Local Government Council, Muhammad Tukur, and his council members.
In addition to the compensation, Governor Yusuf has also approved 100 additional hectares for the extension of the university campus along Gaya Road.
The Vice Chancellor assured that payment will commence as soon as the funds are received by the university.
” Compensation for Affected Residents_: N61 million has been approved to compensate residents affected by the expansion projects.
” Campus Expansion_: 100 additional hectares have been approved for the extension of the university campus.
” Collaboration and Development_: The Vice Chancellor urged for collaborations to develop Wudil Livestock market and initiate a River Festival.
The Chairman of Wudil Local Government Council, Muhammad Tukur, pledged to settle outstanding registration fees for part-time students sponsored by the council.
He assured of the council’s resolve to partner with the university to develop education in the area.
