Kano, Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State has successfully restored full services at the Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital, Kano.
This is contained in a statement issued by his spokesperson Sunusi Dawakin Tofa on Thursday in kan9.
The hospital, which is one of the major healthcare facilities in the state had been facing disruptions due to a misunderstanding between a hospital doctor and a state commissioner.
However, after a productive meeting with Governor Yusuf, the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) Kano Chapter Chairman, Dr. Abdurrahman, announced the resumption of services.
Dr. Abdurrahman expressed gratitude for the governor’s swift action, which prevented further disruption of critical healthcare services.
He also urged Kano residents to report any grievances through proper channels, assuring them that disputes between patients and healthcare providers would be fairly investigated and addressed.
This development is a testament to Governor Yusuf’s commitment to effective healthcare delivery in Kano State.
