KANO, Supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State have embarked on a nationwide tour to document the achievements of former Governor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.
This tour includes visits to libraries and media houses to highlight Yari’s accomplishments during his eight-year tenure as governor .
The APC supporters, drawn from various states, are voluntarily participating in this initiative to showcase the positive impact of Yari’s leadership on the people of Zamfara.
According to Abubakar S. Limanchi, State Coordinator of the forum, their goal is to present a historical record of Yari’s achievements, particularly in leadership and infrastructure development ¹.
Yari’s impressive track record includes being elected as chairman of the Nigeria Governor’s Forum (NGF) during his governorship.
His leadership skills and ability to promote the APC in Zamfara and Nigeria have earned him recognition.
The supporters believe it is their duty to document Yari’s achievements, not only to acknowledge his contributions but also to serve as a testament to his legacy ¹.
By documenting Yari’s accomplishments, the APC supporters aim to preserve his legacy and demonstrate their appreciation for his service to the people of Zamfara.
