Gov. Yusuf inaugurates two rural feeder roads

Kano State Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, has flagged off the construction of two access roads in Dawakin Kudu local government area, under the Kano State Agro-pastoral Development Project (KSADP).

The two road projects, totaling 14.728 km, are valued at N2,453,105,743.20 and are expected to be completed within 12 months.

The KSADP, funded by the Islamic Development Bank, the Lives and Livelihoods Fund, and the Kano State Government, aims to construct 70km of roads across the state, at a cost of N9.97 billion, to enhance economic activities and improve the quality of life for rural dwellers.

The project, now in its third year, has already made significant impacts on the lives of thousands of beneficiaries and aims to reduce poverty by 30% and strengthen food and nutrition security.
