Dawanau International Grains Market Association has Donated Grains worth over ten million naira to dawakin tofa local government Council for onward distribution to the needy .
Speaking while handing over the grains to the vice chairman of Dawakin Tofa LGA ,the President of Dawanau International Grains Market Alhaji Muttaka Isah said the aim of the gesture was to cushion the economic hardship people are currently facing .
He said the materials include Beans,Rice Millet,and maize among others .
Alhaji Muttaka Isah appealed to Dawakin Tofa local government council to expedite action in ensuring that the grains reached the needy.
In his remark the executive chairman of Dawakin Tofa local government area Dr Kabiru Danguguwa represented by the Vice Chairman Alhaji Ahmad Chedi applauded the kind gesture of the leadership of the Dawanau International Grains Market for accumulating the donations from their members .
He reassured the Commitment of the local government council in ensuring that the donations reaches out to the needy .
” Their will be no discrimination during the distribution of these grains ,provided you are from Dawakin Tofa local government and you are among the needy ,the gesture will be extended to you irrespective of the Party you Belong “
He appealed to wealthy individuals and philanthropist not to hesitate in extending such gestures to the needy
