Niger APC Declares Support for Sen. Musa As Deputy Senate President

The Niger State chapter of the All Progressives Congress APC has declared its full support for the zoning of the Deputy Senate President Seat to North Central and particularly Niger state.

The state APC chairman Haliru Zakari Jikantoro made this known during a press briefing at the party secretariat in Minna, hence the position should be micro zoned to the state in which Senator Mohammed Sani Musa 313 had indicated interest be supported.
He explained that Niger state deserved the seat considering its contribution to the party presidential victory from 2015, 2019 and 2023 respectively.
He stated that, “we wish to seek the support of APC National leadership for our quest for National Assembly coveted Deputy President of the Senate, we believe that we met requisite requirements for the lofty office, going by our track records at the polls, with capable and experienced son, worthy of such office”.
Represented by his Deputy, Abdulsalam Mohammed Madaki who urged the President-Elect Ahmed Bola Tinubu to right the past experience by appointing of 2 senior ministerial slots to the state due to their contribution of securing the north central highest votes to the party’s victory at the polls.
The Niger state chapter of the party than, express its gratitude to the party National body under the leadership of Abdullahi Adamu for their proactive approach to issues affecting the state and its members.
