Emir Sanusi II Commends Kano Govt on Education, Infrastructure

The Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammad Sanusi II, has commended the Kano State Government for its efforts in improving the standard of education, which he said has resulted in better performance by students in recent national examinations.

Sanusi made the commendation when he paid the traditional Sallah homage to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf at the Government House in Kano.

The Emir noted that the improved outcomes recorded in the West African Examinations Council and National Examinations Council examinations were clear indications of the government’s commitment to revitalising the education sector in the state.

He also lauded the administration’s ongoing urban renewal initiatives, particularly infrastructural development across Kano, describing them as tangible evidence of the government’s dedication to the overall growth and modernization of the state.

Sanusi urged the state government to sustain the current tempo of development, stressing that continuity in policy implementation would further enhance socio-economic progress and improve the living standards of the people.

The Emir further appealed to residents of the state to intensify prayers for peace, unity and harmonious coexistence, not only in Kano but across the country, especially during and after the festive period.

In his remarks, Governor Yusuf , represented by the speaker Kano State House of Assembly,Jibril Falgore expressed appreciation for the Emir’s visit and kind words, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to delivering more people-oriented projects, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, agriculture, healthcare and human empowerment.
