PSC partners NECA to launch AI-driven digital complaint system for ethical policing in Nigeria

Abuja, The Police Service Commission (PSC) has met with leaders of the Nigeria Employers Consultative Association (NECA) to explore establishing an AI-enabled digital complaints response and case management system for promoting ethical policing in Nigeria.

This is contained in a statement issued by Head, Press and Public Relations,Ikechukwu Ani in Abuja on Tuesday.

PSC Chairman DIG Hashimu Argungu welcomed NECA’s desire to assist in producing quality police officers fit for Nigeria’s security needs.

DIG Argungu said the Commission will cooperate with NECA for digital complaint management promoting ethical policing.

NECA Director General Adewale-Smatt Oyerinde said the association seeks strategic partnership for integrity in policing, reducing extortion and corruption.

Oyerinde promised NECA will train PSC staff free at its Abuja Academy.

The initiative aims to enhance transparency and accountability in Nigeria’s police force.
