Kano Conjoined Twins Return Home After Successful Separation Surgery

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, warmly welcomed the Kano conjoined twins, Hassana and Hussaina Hassan Isa, at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport following their successful separation surgery in Saudi Arabia.
The twins, who were joined at birth, underwent a complex operation fully sponsored by the Saudi government.
The twins were separated after 23 months of intensive medical care and rehabilitation in Saudi Arabia.
Governor Yusuf expressed deep appreciation to the Saudi authorities for their humanitarian gesture.
The governor pledged to sponsor the twins’ education and empower their family with sustainable livelihood means.
The governor described the successful surgery as “a divine testimony and a new beginning” for the twins.
The emotional return marks the end of a remarkable journey of hope and international cooperation.
