A Kano-based philanthropist has commenced a free Ramadan breakfast program for vulnerable individuals in ten centers across the state.

The beneficiaries are being served cooked meals, including rice, Kunun Tsamiya (Tamarind Gruel), and noodles, every evening throughout the Ramadan period.

The philanthropic gesture was launched at one of the designated feeding centers, Rimin-Gado, through Barrister Muhuyi Magaji.

Magaji stated that they are serving the breakfast for the sake of Allah, who enjoined them to feed the less privileged during Ramadan.

In addition to the breakfast program, the philanthropist has distributed foodstuff, including rice and noodles, and cash to over 2,000 vulnerable individuals and 150 orphans to support their feeding during the holy month.

The philanthropist expressed happiness in providing assistance to those in need and prayed for continued financial strength to sustain the gesture.

Beneficiaries, including Talatu Iro and Safiya Yusuf, thanked the philanthropist for the timely gesture, which will enhance their feeding during Ramadan.

Malama Kande Abubakar praised the donation, noting that the assistance would go a long way in supporting those in need.

May Allah reward the donor abundantly.

Abubakar also called on wealthy individuals to emulate this gesture, enabling residents to observe the fasting period without stress.
