Kano, Gov Abba Yusuf of Kano State has extended his heartfelt condolences to Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State over the loss of his mother, over the passing of his mother, Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Barebari.
This is contained in a statement issued by his Deputy spokesperson Mustapha Muhammad in Kano on Sunday.
Governor Yusuf was deeply shocked by the loss and expressed his sympathy to Governor Radda, his family, and the entire Katsina state.
“On behalf of the government and people of Kano State, I extend our sincerest condolences to Governor Radda, his family, and the people of Katsina state.”
He prayed that Almighty Allah grant Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Barebari eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus and console her family for their irreparable loss.
Governor Yusuf acknowledged that Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Barebari’s passing is not only a loss to Katsina state and its people but also to the nation at large.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. May Almighty Allah grant her Jannatul Firdaus, Ameen.
