Yanoko Qur’an Graduation Ceremony: Bature Donates N1.2 Million to Support Islamic Education

The Qur’an graduation ceremony of Madarasatul Tahafizul Qur’an in Yanoko, Tofa Local Government Area, took place on Saturday, January 19, with community leaders, dignitaries, and well-wishers in attendance to celebrate the 22 graduating students.
Sanusi Bature, Director General of Media to the Kano State Governor, made a remarkable donation of N1.2 million, comprising N1 million for the school, N20,000 each for the teachers, and N5,000 each for the graduating students. This generous act reaffirmed his commitment to education, Qur’anic memorization, and community empowerment.
Other notable contributors included Hon. Tajjini Jobe (N150,000), Yakubu Adis (N50,000), and Hon. Adamu Mainasara (N30,000). The ceremony highlighted the importance of investing in knowledge, educators, and students, as well as the vital role of Islamic education in shaping future generations.
The management of Madarasatul Tahafizul Qur’an expressed gratitude to all donors, praying for abundant blessings in their lives. The event not only celebrated the graduates but also showcased community-driven initiatives and visionary leadership in fostering education and shaping a brighter future.
