Kano, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Chancellor of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUSTECH), Wudil, has pledged to construct a Senate Building and 10 senior academic staff residences at the institution.
This commitment was made during a visit by the university management, led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Musa Yakasai,and Commissioner of High Education Dr Yusuf Kofar Mata to Dangote’s Lagos office.
The Chancellor also promised to upgrade the university’s water supply, provide official vehicles for principal officers, and address electricity issues sustainably. Additionally, he offered support for the 5th convocation ceremony.
The Vice-Chancellor expressed gratitude for Dangote’s earlier intervention of N100 million to settle the university’s electricity bill, praising his generosity. The university community and state government applaud Dangote’s philanthropy, wishing him continued success.
