Sokoto Governor Assents to 2025 Budget, Pledges to Deliver More Projects

Governor Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State has signed the 2025 Appropriation Bill into law, promising to deliver more projects that will benefit the people of the state.
The Governor described the implementation of the 2024 budget as a success story and vowed to sustain the momentum by executing more people-oriented projects.
Governor Aliyu thanked the lawmakers for their speedy passage of the bill, which he said demonstrated their commitment to improving the lives of their constituents.
He also expressed gratitude to the people of the state for their support and prayers.
The Speaker of the Sokoto State House of Assembly, Tukur Bala Bodinga, commended the Governor for his efforts in delivering dividends of democracy across the state.
He assured the Governor of the lawmakers’ support for his policies and programs aimed at transforming the state.
The 2025 budget is valued at N526.9 billion, and its passage is expected to facilitate the execution of key projects in the state.
